The Journey

The Journey started with the development of “Impossible Jumpy Quest“.
The first couple of versions were still somewhat different gameplay wise, from
how things are working now in the game. The simplistic artstyle was picked deliberately early on in developement. In early 2017 the project hit steam greenlight, and was greenlit shortly after its announcement. But with steams change from “greenlight” to “steam direct”, the project had to be delayed. There was
a good number of obstacles to overcome. To find the right direction and starting a company has been a real challenge. Being able to find creative choices within the restraints, that only show themself, when triggered by your actions. Now in 2018
Ginko Games has finally released the game for public interaction in early-access. Some patches have been released since, and the game is going to be fully released in 2019. More to come…
